Shady Hollow Flea Market - 4th of July Weekend!

The Shady Hollow Flea Market is always fun! I love meeting new people, selling my handmade wares, and of course, buying way too much!! It's been sooo HOT! Or maybe it just seems that way because the entire month of June was filled with rain! Anyway, here's a couple photos of some of the vendors and then, of course, some photos of my booth!

Another day at the studio....Yippee!

I really do love working on my artwork and jewelry.....I just need to get my space organized so I can work more efficiently! Ok, I'll admit it, I'm not the most organized person ever.....my mom would definitely agree! But isn't the first step in getting organized time? Well, that's just not something I have a whole lot of these days! I wish I did because it would be so nice to know where everything is so I'm not searching for something forever and in the end give up because I can't find it!! It's frustrating, but I'm sure I'm not the only one though, right?!?!?

Anyway, today I'm finishing up some of my very last wholesale orders and then onto the fun stuff! I've got some great ideas for some new soldered pendants! I can't wait to debut them this weekend at the Shady Hollow Flea Market! I'm also going to (hopefully) debut my newest jewelry section.....Design-Your-Own!! Yes, it's pretty self-explanatory but it will be a design your own necklace/bracelet/earring section! I will have different pendants, charms, chains, and other little found objects for people to pick out and bring to me and I will make/put together your new piece of jewelry!

Now it's off to finish some orders and then play with my new toys......a glass grinder and my brand new soldering iron, my old one sadly died this past week :(.

PS - Come out to the Shady Hollow Flea Market this weekend for tons of great finds and lots of fun.....I'm sure it'll be packed with lots of vendors because of the 3-day market!!

It's been awhile, hasn't it?!

Yes it has, it's been quite some time since my last blog post! I've got some great new ideas for jewelry and artwork!
I've been doing a lot of thinking lately and I've decided to stop the wholesale end of my business (I will continue to take reorders though for all of my loyal stores!!). It's been very busy and very good to me (Thank you!!), but it's been too busy for just 1 person! So, I've decided to just continue with the retail end of my business. I love this side of my business because I get to travel and do shows around the country, meet lots of great people, and my favorite.....be much more creative and create 1-of-a-kind items! Such as my new artwork and found object jewelry! I'll post new pictures of my jewelry asap!

Summer Street Fairs are finally here!!

Yes it's that time of here for street fairs, flea markets, and just plain 'ol being outside!! Although the weather hasn't exactly cooperated the past few days/weeks/months.....! It's June 1 today and it still really doesn't feel like summer!
Anyway....back to the subject of my post....STREET FAIRS!! I LOVE doing street fairs and meeting new people and having people see all my new creations! This year I've expanded my Vintique line (vintage-inspired jewelry) and added a whole new section......my design-your-own necklace section! It will be making its debut at the Detroit Lakes Street Fair this weekend! There will be lots of fun charms, funky vintage add-ons, brand new letter pendants, and of course tons of different chains to layer and layer!! I've also added some new, colorful fabric and metal artwork! I'm so excited for everyone to see it! It mixes new and old fabric with metal and words of sentinment. Come check it out!!

Working, working, working......on new things for the Spring Home & Garden Show in 2 weeks!!

That's right! In just 2 short weeks, The Spring Home & Garden show will be here at the Park Expo Center in Charlotte! Here's a hint at what's to come......handpainted vintage chair garden planters, funky and bright garden stakes, vintage silverware garden markers, and brand new designs for my vintage jewelry line!! I'm so excited to debut so many new products!! I can't wait! Stay tuned for pics!!

PS - many of these items will also be making their debut at The Boulevard in Charlotte!!

New Stuff to The Boulevard!!

I am about to leave to bring new items into The Boulevard at Noda! Some new jewelry, some vintage items, and some funky and brightly colored birdhouses, signs with metal flowers and corrugated metal hearts with metal flowers! Sooo awesome!! I'll take some pics and post later today!!
